Hello Boys and Girls,

It would be interesting to know how many miles you are getting from a full tank (Until the computer goes to 0000 miles left that is )

Model: 35i
Miles: 290 exactly - About 27MPG
Fuel: Standard Unleaded/ Premium Unleaded (sometimes)
Type of driving: Spirited,B Roads, Motorways - 250 Miles per week on average

I know this topic has been discussed so many times but I have always been obsessed with fuel consumption :driving:

35Is. Mainly drive round the doors (4 mile trip to work). Around 17-18 mpg usually. On a motorway can get to around 32.

Believe it or not I had it up to 120 on the bypass whilst racing with a chap in his Fiat 500 Abarth, on my winterwheels!
To his credit he kept an alarmingly close pace and a gentleman's doff was shared at the next set of lights.
tally ho!

Is the tank bigger on these E89 to E85 i wonder. How much does it cost to fill your tank?. It cost me £52 in the 2.5 or 3.0i E85 i always get approx 300 miles at 32.4mpg only using premuim super unleaded

you will get more miles range if you use super unleaded all the time plus it will clean and protect your engine better. Do you use quality oil or cheap stuff? Why would you use cheaper lesser grade fuel instead of premuim stuff? The benefit outweighs not using it only cost £2-5 more per tank so why not

mmm..........400 miles per tank i need this in my life

35is 210-240 miles to a tank, mpg is around 19-21ish. If I'm very saint like I've seen over 400 miles to a tank, but that's very dull :driving:

My 35iS is telling me around 300 to the tank with me chickening out at 16 miles left this week. Average of 25 mpg over last 3k miles

My 28i used to get around 360 per tank with an average of 30mpg over 23k miles

It's not that I hate the greater fuel usage more the lack of miles between fill ups. Would be better with a slightly larger tank on the 35iS so I didn't have to see the fuel pump quite so often.

I don't regret the extra OOmph under the pedal though ;-)

And oddly my sig says only 20mpg for the 35is yet online says 25.1 for some reason.

35i Manual
Between 320 and 185 depending on motorway/local ratio.
Average is 28.75 mpg.
Cheers, Dave
