no homo

Do what? Lol

"nohomo "
An Adjective: A phrase typically used in conjunction with a salutation, used in a setting where a group of at least two men greet at least two other men in a potentially effeminate manner, to articulate that the interaction contains, nor can there be derived from any homosexual context or meaning.

E.g;
Stan and Alex hugged their friends Bill and Paul when they met at La Guardia Internation Airport, and Stan quickly stated "nohomo" as they embraced.

"Nohomo!" One of the group cried, as all of them shed tears for their fallen brother, who caused a 179 car pileup on the I-75 after seventeen tequilla shooters and ten beers.

Awww shes cute, but cant you keep the zed and put her in the glove box- with the door open of course :)

 great plan!

I am afraid that, not being a dog enthusiast, I cannot understand why anybody would choose a dog over a car :tumbleweed: :poke:

We have a German shepherd and a bischon (little and large) I have an Audi a4 Avant for when we take the dogs with us and the dogs don't get near the Zed.

The problem with the dogs in the car is that no matter how often you clean it the dog hairs get everywhere so having a car where they don't ever go in is great when you are going out in you glad rags!

Fun times ahead with your new arrival - they would fit in the hatch of a coupe of course lol

It's not a case of one over the other, however much more is gained from a living loving being than a lump of metal we enthuse with unused emotion. It's a 2 seater and 3 things need to sit in it!

Mum has her dog just slightly smaller than a Schnauzer by her legs with his lead on round her foot to secure him. No issue of him jumping about & not going anywhere in an emergency other than into the footwell carpet.

He loves the roof off, lays quiet as a mouse with his nose sniffing the air... you could always make a small anchor point to attach the lead if you had to go solo.... Hans

No chance its ever going anywhere near the boot. The ride in the car is too harsh.. my prior dog wouldn't stay in the footwell because it got bounced around. It jumped into the seat or the passengers arms at any opportunity. Humans are much more comfy.

TBH, even with shiny new wheels etc... the shine of the Z is wearing off now.. its been nearly 3 years of ownership and while its a stunning car, I've had my fun and I can't keep off the AUC website looking for a 5 series of the right spec... I'm trying to convince myself to keep the Z, but the force is strong to move on and back to more comfort, not caring about potholes (so much), better practicality, while keeping some looks, prestige and toys.
I know what you mean about comfort my wife's Audi is in for some paint work re insurance claim ,they dropped of a very nice 2013 plate Mercedes Eclass with all the toys , since then the Z has been in the garage ,the Merc is so nice to drive with no effort ,although on a sunny day top down country roads you can't beat the Z

We've got a golden retriever and 2 long coat chihuahua's. We had two 1'ers before but traded one in for the Z4.

If it wasn't for the left over 1'er I'd never be able to cope with just a Z4, but we manage it so the dogs go in the 1'er.

They've never been in the Z4, although I do now have a seat cover (generously given to me by a member on here,...forgot the name sorry) so if I needed the dog in the Z4, ie emergency trip to vets, then it's ok.

It's just another area that shows up the inpracticalities of a 2 seater, but we work around that.

The car is not designed for dogs etc, so if it no longer meets your needs and is not possible to manage with your other car, then I don't see much choice for you other than to change.

Sounds to me you've already nearly made your mind up!!!

Get a cheapo dog mobile in addition to the Z4?

My pups both go in the wife's Qashqai - although I was happy to take the little one in my old MX5s, I value my leather too much in the Z4!

Skippy on the left is only 5 months old! Melody is nearly 2 and only getting tubbier - not taller.

ah that's so cute :D

only you can really decide about the car situation, but sounds like you're pretty taken with the 5 series wagon...

Cute dog!!

I went through the same thing and recently sold my Z4. I said I wouldn't but I also got the 3 year itch (almost 4 actually!).
