Hi Everyone,

Here is the reply from......

Thanks Marco, appreciate your efforts! Will drop Buzz an email, like you say at least he's willing to take a bit off!

Marco, thanks for all your efforts, I agree a small business like Buzztop deserves support and now we know the costs involved, will order one through him.
When you do receive yours would you kindly give a review. Thanks again.

I told you they wouldn't give a discount and I also find that a bit strange as imagine the extra business they might get from word of mouth.

Thanks for trying Marco I will also give Buzz a shout as there is no way I will buy a cabrio shield even a small gesture would have been something especially with that number of orders!

As others have said, thanks for trying Marco. Looks like cabrio shield have lost a lot of custom here!

I bought one from him through ebay and again after talking to him. very nice guy and I am delighted with his product. it never moved an inn through all the bad weather and strong winds that we had. great product. :D

Kat are you talking about the cover Buzz sells?

Andy

Yes Andy I am. When I bought it last year i called to talk to buzz and was very impressed by his passion and honesty about his product. I bought one and have no regrets. :)

Hi kat,

Does the rear of the cover, cover the roof drain - in other words does it direct water away from the hood motor?

Any chance of a photo (or photos) please.

Think I will go this route if possible.

Thanks for all the effort Marco - good try - their loss.

:driving:

it does cover the area that allows water to get into the drains, it also looks very similar if not the same as the cabrio shield. take a look here, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z3-CAR-COVER-HOOD-SOFT-TOP-HALF-COVER-by-Buzz-Topz-/161204312529?pt=UK_Car_Exterior_Accessories&hash=item25888699d1

It shows a z3 but you will get the idea. As I have said, it stays put in any wind and is waterproof in the strongest storms. There are no straps to tuck into doors etc. I won't be able to take pictures until the weekend but i will get it done.

Thanks Marco ! What a bunch of idiots they are I worked for 26 years in marketing and we used to give product away free to get it endorsed worked a treat and ended up a multi million dollar company !

I will also go down the buzz route let's help someone who is genuine and from what you have said a true gent !

Thanks for your time and efforts

I am glad to see that most people agree with my sentiments!

My cover from Buzz should be with me by the weekend, as soon as I get it I will upload some pics so you can all see what it looks like. Hopefully that will help you to make a decision about which one you prefer.....

Thanks kat,

Have taken a look at the photo of the Z3 and gone ahead and ordered my cover.

I think it should be easier and more convenient to fit rather than the Cabrioshield which has to be fitted into doors and boot.

Thanks Marco too I think this post has led us to a useful product

I'll post my thoughts when I get the cover.

Thanks again all!

:driving:

Whoa, I thought Cabrio Shield were stubborn but it turns out they've got the business acumen of a boiled potato!
