Gone ///M after a long wait . . . .

May have to use it to keep up with their M ,Daves 3.0 and super fast Craig in future.
Just as well Alien Z isnt up here all the time as I couldnt keep up with him either on our last jaunt.
.

Ha - you always say that but put you in the front and ask you to lead and you fly . . . . :o :driving:

My thoughts too, when i upgraded to an M from a 3.0.......it feels better quality, due to a smoother ride, which i also put down to the slightly higher profile tyres than an msport spec 3.0 has.

Have fun.....John certainly did over the past 9 years.

I just hope he doesn't regret selling it,lol.

Enjoy your run on friday Paul, wish I could be with you, but alas confined to the cmax , , grandparent duties for the next10 days,
And the Zeds in bits anyway having a complete suspension , n , braking system overall getting ready for our eurotrip on the 24th.
Be interesting to hear your thoughts after a good workout :D
All the best to everyone and have a great day :driving: :driving:

Congrats Paul, awesome motor and plenty of fun to be had in the future! Need to get my arse in gear and secure a motor so I can get in on some of these awesome runs I keep seeing! :driving:

Hope Steph is well and loves the car just as much!

The weather is naff at the moment and I've already been accused of being a fair weather driver since I got the ///M and dared mention rain. :x
Looking for a quality full cover. . .I know, I know.
It's on the drive and at best it'll be hit by bird dropping so (that's why I still use a half cover on my 3.0si despite the motor being in the boot) I want something. Building another garage will have to wait now the pennies have gone on the///M.
Anyone have thoughts over a fitted Storm force v unfitted Hamilton?

Get one of these - no worries about marring the paint then

Ha, just had the 'No' again from Steph - already considered such an option and apart from anchoring I didn't care what it looked like but Steph prefers the wooden garage in the garden solution. (that'll have to wait £££ )

Now that Sir, is a cracker!

Yep - you can see the attraction despite me loving my 3.0si so much . . . . it looks even better in the 'flesh'

For those, like you Pastry, that are new forumites - this ///M was sammyz's and he's had it effectively from new (BMW group 1st owners). He's had it 9 years and cared for it wonderfully. Kept off road over the winter months and (relatively) low miles 49K. Respected member of the Forum, known by many and a friend of ours from when we joined and through him organising and leading the runs (with Craig3.2) at the Nationals. Steph and I have enjoyed many runs with sammyz and his ///M, including Scotland, Wales and the Borders as well as the National's. He has attended our runs based in Newcastle and been on our Northumberland Castles and Coast tours. We've loved this ///M since we first saw it - I guess you can call it a 'known' ///M  . It's certainly one of the most recognised and known ///M's (along with one or two others) on the forum.

Not certain Steph and I will keep it quite as sammyz has but we'll do our best - we shall see . . . . .

No worries, just offered it for sale to you,as it's sitting around not getting used for the past couple of years....
Would have given you forum discount as well, lol.

I may get round to selling the cover at some point, just never got round to advertising it.

Sad to see the M go but very happy its gone to such a lovely couple. :D I will be checking the paintwork for scratches and stone chips at the National. :poke:

I hope Steph and Paul have as much fun in that car as I did. :driving:

Looking likely I will be getting the M3 vert. If not I've seen a lovely low mileage 35i that I will buy. It's a hard life.
