Going, going gone!

Today is a very good day for the country. The greasy piglet has finally been ousted. He has done huge damage to the country, the full extent of which has yet to be revealed.

An effective campaigner he may have been but he was totally unsuited for high office. A truly awful man and the worst prime minister we've ever had. Such a shambolic and humiliating end - perhaps that is fitting for such a man! He cares for no one except himself and the manner of his downfall will forever taint his legacy.

Hopefully this brings an end to the corrosive politics of division that he promoted, the law breaking, the inane slogans, the twisted truth making, the attacks on cherished institutions and professions and the promotion of lightweight sycophants into positions of power

I don't think there can be a worse replacement for him although there are not many who have acted with honor during the embarrassing debacle of his time in office.

Looking forward to seeing the end of Rees Mogg and Dorries too :D

Not quite sure which side of the fence you are sitting? :tumbleweed:

 Ill admit it became somewhat of an obsession. Going to try and switch off from politics for a while now and focus on more satisfying things! 8)

It still amazes me how this whole corrupt government was allowed to carry on the way they did.
However I don't think we are out of the woods yet. If stories are to be believed the new chancellor uses taxpayers money to heat his horses stables.

Depends on who is voted in next as PM. Could be Gove, or Rees-Mogg!

Blair was way worse, just hid it very well.

I was quite a fan of Boris in 2019. I ferking hate the twat now. Good riddance!

FWIW, and I'm not hugely informed, I'd quite like to see Ben Wallace installed. Ex soldier, mentioned in dispatches, challenging ministerial experience and not a showman seems like a better background than another spoilt Eton brat :|

Am I missing something here?

Don’t we have a deputy PM? Why doesn’t Boris step down and let his deputy take over- I always thought that was the role of a deputy - if Boris had popped his clogs with covid it would have happened, why not at a time like this?

As a gesture of solidarity and goodwill, Scotland will graciously allow you to have Sturgeon.

Please note, absolutely NO returns accepted.

One obvious problem with WJK is that we can't understand a word she says, as she has a really strange accent....is it Australian?

I made myself laugh there...,sad innit?

I read the other day that Tony Blair is looking to return to politics.
Now that ‘s something to look forward to! :fuelfire:

With his missus? The 'Blair Witch'.

Agreed he needed to go.

Problem now for Starmer is he's got to start coming up with ideas instead of relying on being capt' hindsight and having a pop at anyone and everything, along with his nasty gobshite deputy tart flashing her knickers, and there will be his downfall because he has the square root of nothing to offer, no ideas, just Mr grey dull as dishwater know nothing. He's gonna miss Boris....
