Greetings,
As an introduction, let me start off with my particulars:
Retired Marine Corps officer (23+ years) having flown electronic warfare aircraft and commanded a company of Marine Corps tankers. Currently I am supporting Marine Corps Intelligence in northern Virginia but hope to take my family back to the west coast where our families reside.
I am an avid Harley rider, a legacy inherited from my father, and am now the happy owner of an '03 Z4. A move that nearly cost me my marriage. Might have been a combined effect of having a bike AND a convertible. Gotta love secondary blast effects. But at least I have the support of my kids...
These fora are replete with knowlegable folk from all walks of life and I have come to appreciate the wealth of information contained in the brain-housing-groups of members on the various other forums that I belong to. From what I have seen thus far, this one is no exception. What I enjoy is reading about people with a passion for these vehicles and the subtleties that make up their personalities. Each car has a story to tell, relayed to the audience by their drivers.
Finally, it is refreshing to find a forum that is singularly focused on the Z4 type/series/model without muddying the waters.
