I started with originals and CSLs, than the oz formulas crossed my way and I wanted to have them and bought them, but didnt find the balls to sell the CSLs.
Than I needed some track wheels and bought the 18" ultras very cheap at ebay.
Than a friend of mine needed money and sold the 19" ultras cheap- so I bought them.

What did I sell?

I've got 3 sets of rims.
I wasn't too impressed with the stock wheels
Using the run flats are crap excuse I bought a set of "Lorenzos" with Michelin Pilot SS :evil:
Winter Tires are on "Moda 14" with Michelin Snows.
Almost went for a set of 108's last week but I just couldn't come up with any excuse that even I would believe.
It's a sickness I say !!! :D

I am running no origin csl wheels but competition. So not 8,5"wide in the front but 8" wide.
I have to run 10mm spacers especially to fit the brake
 
so how would i get this Track mode installed and what exactly is changing??? if its an ECU flash then i may have a problem being tuned??? if its a changed to the actually DSC module, then.... perfect, how about a pic of the instrument panel with the mode engaged???

wondering if this can be done remotely?? any links for me so i can follow this up... why on gods earth bmw didn't do this stock ill never know, even worse its just a case of unlocking it!! shocking!!

M-track mode is not something new :wink: There is lots of info on fitting the M-track mode from the CSL and e46 M3 competition on the Z4M and e46 M3. If your car is equipped with the DSC MK-60 then it is possible to program the M-track mode on your car. Every Z4M has the DSC MK-60 module. I knew it was possible; I only had to find the right guy to do it to my car ;) Normally it's going to be programmed this month.

The menu of programming is something like this….example from e46 M3

It is no ECU flash, it's altering some settings…like if you would alter the settings of locking your doors when driving or flashing the brakes lights when emergency braking…

I'm completely aware of the m-track mode on the e46 variants :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: what I'm trying to work out is how i can get this applied to my car..... i was told by evolve, who know their s**t that this is unavailable on the e86/6 platform, i asked many moons ago!!

Thanks for the compliments on my car...
With the OZ Formula, it is noa as it looks.
I did not do a center Lock modification- on those rims its just show and shine.
Just a plastic thing over the bolts.

I had Oz centre-locking wheels on my first Westfield that had exactly this...it looked convincing until you really examined them. Great looking car with some awesome modifications :thumbsup:

Gives you a slacker DSC setting, which should let it slide around, but hopefully catch you when you get really out of shape!

No need for the sport button. It's all done with the DSC button that is already in the car.
 
Excellent thread! Very nice mods, and a very nice car :)

Glad to see that the M-Track mode can be done, and will do it later. On the 46 i still ended up just turning DSC completely off. But for track days its perfect, and does help you look like a hero if things do go a tad wrong.

Interested to hear the difference on the diff ratio. I opted for the 3.91 on my M3, but didnt find it quite enough, and wished i went for the 4.10. Though with the Z4M being more of a handful, perhaps the 3.91 would be the best bet again? :)
