Fuel..how high will it go?

Ive Just had an email from friends in Germany (Aachen) and they tell me that Super 95 is currently €2.23 a Litre and expecting €3.00 to come soon
They didn’t say what Diesel was

Just been out and ours has gone up again, not as high as the rest seem to be (our heating oil is following the same differential pattern) but it’s still gone up from £1.459 to £1.629 in 4 days :headbang: diesel has also increased by the same margin over the same period.

Hopefully some good news, reports that UAE and Iraq have stated that they are willing to increase oil production, Brent Crude was trading at $130 at the start of the day, after that news it has fallen and is currently at $112

Wonder how long it will be before we see any drop in prices at the pumps :poke:

I doubt it will be in our lifetime. :headbang:

Don’t be too sure about that. Some people around here are in their early twenties; they may yet stand a chance :P

Ah, but I was referring to myself and Sars, us being that bit older.

95 is 2.049€ and 98 is 2.099€ in Estonia, all time high. :driving:

We’ve got prices for 98 at €2.56,9 now at Shell. Seems that cheaply bought Russian oil isn’t finding its way to our pumps then…

You really are trying to get murdered by sars today

As long as sars plans to do it by dousing me in premium unleaded, I figure I stand a chance. Unless she takes out a loan that is. Or wasn’t that aimed at me..?

When I was driving home on Sunday morning I had about half a tank so didn't bother stopping as I went past Tesco where Regular was £1.549 per litre.

Then I went out last night and it was £1.599 so having only just over a quarter of a tank I thought I'd fill up on my way home, but the forecourt was shut. :(

So as it's only about a mile from home I took it round today to fill up before it went up again! Paid £1.669 a litre for Momentum, which looks cheap compared to some of the prices quoted here. :o

I bet there is a shortage of jerry cans.

Scuba has a price on his head 8)

If it is bird flu that may not be all he has on his head.

I paid £1.469 a litre for E10 yesterday.
ONLY £6.67 a gallon. I feel like the cat that got the cream. :?

Hey I’m 54 years young and there ain’t no getting away from that fact. Anyway [ref]Scubaregs[/ref], is just getting his own back
and SARS is not bird flu :poke:
and I was sars way before SARS

Thinking about this, numbers are difficult without context, so…

We’ve got the 118d as a daily. When we got it 1.5 years ago, diesel was at €1.14 per litre. Full tank would be about €45. Today that’s 2.22 per litre, so that same tank costs €88…

Premium unleaded? Started at €1.62 when I got it (summer of “21), €65 for a tank. Now? €2.46,9 so €99…

Ironically, it’s the fairly frugal diesel that’s costing us dearly given that the Z4 only uses about 1-1.5 tanks of fuel a month. Still, happy that I don’t have the more thirsty 159 with its 70 litre tank…
