In that case I would have gone for an M3! ;-)

BTW there's two turbo's on this engine... perhaps get them to check the rattle on both?
? on the road tax tho... Mines £275 pa.. same engine..
I'd check that road tax as mines also £275? That figure you quoted is for an M3 or Z4M type engine emissions? :?

Definitely £460 a year according to DVLA.
For the Alpina, a D3BT is the one to go forinkey$ said:Already preparing myself. If it all goes belly up then I'll be looking at the 330d or Alpina D3.

Not according the the DVLA site when you go through vehicle check. Saying 460.Breaker said:inkey$ said:Breaker said:I'd check that road tax as mines also £275? That figure you quoted is for an M3 or Z4M type engine emissions? :?

That's first year tax only though isn't it (for new cars). ?

Definitely this. My old man had a 335i (on an 09 so LCI but still with the twin turbo) and it was band K, so your (potentially) will be too.
He also had death rattle on his and turbos replaced under warranty by BMW when car was about 2 years old.
Shame the twin turbo had problems as it was a pretty epic engine. I'd suggest looking for one that has had the work done already or a later single turbo car if this one falls through.
Also - if this one does fall through, a DCT car is far superior to the Steptronic. And I mean different planet superior...!

You need a Coupe then. HTH.

Not with a baby seat.

They're surprisingly roomy in the back - 4 adults on a decent journey with ease.... My colleague has a 335d Coupe, he has his kids seats in it all the time.
I mean...you might bang your head a bit every now and then....but life isn't without sacrifices......![]()

From the research I've done its new turbo time so I'm probably just venting and they'll call to say its not viable.
Don't think 330d has turbo btw. If it does then not seen anything around issues.

Looks good to me
