Forum Glitches - Timing out

I don’t know if it’s only me this morning but it seems like we are almost back to normal
Mostly seems better, I've not been dumped out yet, but it is taking 30 seconds or so to load each thread.
I guess its a series a small fixes, not a silver bullet job.

Folks, click on your username (Top right) then on user control panel. Scroll to the bottom and select delete cookies.

This seems to have sorted the slow loading problem for me.
Just did this.
Had to then log in again, but it does seem to have worked a bit better...................... for now.

Slightly improved but still taking a good 20 seconds or longer at times to load pages but thanks for having a look at it

Got kicked out a couple of days ago and not been able to get logged in since - saying my password was wrong!?
Have now reset my password and seems ok

Deleting cookies has made it considerably slower on my iPhone

Odd as in one moment pages load immediately and then times out. It took me around 5 attempts to post a reply this morning as when hitting submit the page kept timing out.

Similar experience here. Connection here is a stable 250mbit, so no issues there. It’s an intermittent issue, loading neigh instantly one moment, taking up to 20s the next. Can’t say it’s thread- or area-specific either, with overal site performance down from what it was weeks ago

Still appreciate all the work that’s going into running and maintaining the site behind the scenes. Working in IT, I know what we see on the front end of things is only a fraction of everything done behind the scenes. If there’s any way we can help, be it donations or otherwise, I’m sure many of us would be happy to

Well I hope so!

It was down for quite a while, but didn't boot up too quickly. :?

I heard noises it may have been due to an expired SSL cert?

Unfortunately not... things are better than they were but I still haven't got to the source of the issue...

It’s as good as gold for me this morning! Great effort Sp3ctre, thanks for wrestling this over the past few days.
