Unless you've provided a compelling case to keep your licence I reckon you'll get a ban. It's usually an automatic ban unless you can persuade them it is not the right course of action. I am a firm believer you should always turn up at the magistrates court, say you are sorry and that you apologise for wasting their time. That way you get less of an arse kicking than you do if you don't turn up. It saved me from a ban many years ago put it that way.
