Flash/Acoustic for Lock/Unlock

Anyone had the issue where their flash or acoustic for unlock has randomly turned itself off?

I used to always have it turned on, and the comfort so when I walked away I had the comforting bleep to signal the car was locking.

Over time I have turned comfort off and on dependant on mood and use but always left the flash (indicators) and acoustic signal on. Recently I noticed that the acoustic had randomly turned itself off which I thought was weird but just turned it back on.

Couple of weeks ago (just after the software update was done by my dealer) the acoustic stopped again which I noticed one day as I locked and walked off. Thought - ah I’ll turn that back on again when I remember.

Well I’ve since noticed that the indicators weren’t flashing either, so have tried to turn it back and can’t…
The check boxes in the settings menu for it are unchecked, but won’t check when selected!
No matter how many times click!

I've been advised this is due to a fault with the "siren unit" which required replacement (under insured warranty).
