Free day to myself so why waste it ? Been 8 weeks since i last enjoyed the car so knowing it was being SORNd tomorrow i got out early this morning on my favourite roads :driving: over Pendle into the Ribble valley & up to the Bowland Fells . Once there i headed to the dales near Malham & stopped in Gargrave for some fish + chips  then headed home over the moors at Lothersdale , most enjoyable with roof down & felt kinda sad as i washed & dried it before garaging until 1st April

1st April ??

It will be sold by then.....

Will leave the sale post on here but won't be re listing elsewhere whilst its on SORN , then come April i may just run it through summer  depends how other things go , may decide to keep it as there is very little that interests me for similar money
Definitely doesn't take long on the roads ive been today to remind me what makes these car's so enjoyable & to some extent i have much sympathy for those who Dd them :( can't be much magic in those miles

I miss driving mine every day, not enough excuses or time to go out in it right now.

Roll on summer :driving:

Don't sell it mate, it's a credit to you and as you say little comparable for the money. Lovely motor

Looks like a perfect day. Bet it's going to be hard leaving it tucked up for the next few months.

Edit. Just admiring your wheels. What offset you running front and back.?

Now you know how I feel.

@Mr. Wilks, presume you've not had an interest yet. Bet that's why you listed it over Xmas, half hearted attempt.

Maybe by 2008 they had tweaked them :? never noticed tbh

I did see a lot of flooded fields , high rivers & many villages on clean up duties with sandbags everywhere  not good for them :(
Had a couple of calm bright days but its turning now with winds already up & rain forecast overnight so we will have to see how it goes :?

Busted  i did say it was a half hearted fs post & after today's " re-connection " genuinely not bothered about blanketing until spring then take it from there

Nice pics, such a lovely part of the planet. Thanks for sharing your last drive of 2015 with us Mr W.

Nice car, awful reg plate size. Really wish you'd change it as it looks absolutely shocking! other than that, fantastic pics. Not a flooded village in sight. Media must be making it all up.

Left that rear plate on as i liked it & it seemed to annoy people :P the actual private number is coming off next week though so back on standard plates next time out

Both of our half hearted posts worked well then  I haven't tried to sell mine at all since posting it.

I didn't like that rear plate myself at first but when I saw it in person, it works well I think.
