If anyone has a good name for this 7-day trip, more than welcome, otherwise it will stay "Eurotour" ;)
I have a friend who can make cheap decals for the cars, for those who would like some. Was thinking of making number stickers als well, just for fun.

They look really good, you will need to offer more than one colour though, my Z is red! I like the idea of numbers. :D

Pistonheads have just posted about a little route near the nürburgring...

Perhaps worth incorporating, maybe a quick sprint before breakfast :D

Good shout, thanks! Having a meeting with two friends next weekend to start working on the route and hotels!
We might limit the number of cars to keep it feasible and find enough hotels, so subscribe while you still can! :-)

In order to keep all the info in one place for all participants coming from different countries, I now made a google page. I added the info in the OP. Go and check it out!!

In the meantime, we have been looking at the different journeys we could undertake. We've come up with this, what do you think?

This is the proposal (1.850 kms) in total: (will be working on hotels and restaurants after this)

27/04/2015 - Dunkerque => Durbuy (340 kms). This part is some highway at first, so we can cover some distance. After 1/3rd of the route we arrive in the "Condroz" area of France, going through the regional parc of "scarpe-escaut", afterwards the regional parc of "avesnois", then the lake of "l'eau de l'heure", and then going through Dinant, the anney of Ciney ending the first trip in Durbuy, the smallest city in the world.

28/04/2015: Durbuy => Ürzig (300 kms). The second day brings us through the Belgian Ardennes, past the highest point of Belgium Baraque de Fraiture, continuing towards the lake of Bütgenbach, then towards the ancient village Monschau, going through the vulkanic Eifel area, then going all the way down to Cochem, then following a part of the Mosel river towards the vinyards of Ürzig

29/04/2015: Ürzig => Freudenstadt (300 kms). The third day, the route will be less complex (we might be a little tired by then), simply going all the way down towards Baden-Baden. That is where the famous "route 500" starts, one of the most epic roads of Europe. The trip will end in Freudenstadt, where this epic road ends as well.

30/04/2015: Rest day. A day's rest will do us good! We might organise a half-day event such as a city visit or something, not yet sure what we could do around Freudenstadt. I'm sure we'll come up with something.

01/05/2015: Freudenstadt => Neufchâteau (300 kms). Leaving Freudenstadt and going further down the Eifel area towards the Vosges Mountains, passing through Epinal going up to Neufchâteau where we are done for the day.

02/05/2015: Neufchâteau => Reims (250 kms). The second day of the second half of the week, we will do a shorter trip, this would allow us to have a nice stop at the lake of Madine. From that point, we will go over small roads towards the old race track of Reims.

03/05/2015: Reims => Cap Blanc Nez (350 kms). The last day will be a slightly longer trip but with more National roads, so a little more relaxing than the mountains we had in Germany. From Reims we will go all the way up to Cap Blanc Nez, via small road or longer Nationals. On a clear day, you should be able to see the UK from the top of the Cap Blanc Nez, where we will park our cars to enjoy the coastal views and where we sill say goodbye. :)

Very soon. I will be looking at the hotels next (in the coming days), so that everyone can start booking!
Any suggestions for hotels in the mentioned cities where each trip ends, are welcome!

I would think so. In any case, if you're fed up with driving on one of the days, you could simply take your GPS and go straight to the next destination over the highways, which would take only 3 hours, leaving you with half a day to do other stuff :-) Especially for those of us bringing our wives, this is a strong argument
