Is 200 ish miles a day ok with most people?

We did 250 miles each day on the Skye run. A day is a long time, and you don't need to be driving like a loon to do 200 miles in one - in my experience, of course.

Can an SLK do 250 miles in one go without forcing you to stop for a mandatory doctors check up ? :?

Looks a great trip.we did part of it this year and thoroughly enjoyed it .Arras.riems epinal and thro the grand ballon to mulhouse.then we headed south switzerland over a few passes and on down monaco area.

I've a horrible feeling that this might clash with our rugby tour at the end of the season

Need to check... Funnily enough we're going to Belgium, but in a 56 seater coach. Bollocks :x

I'll confirm back ASAP

The hotel in Freudenstadt also has good reviews from Michelin as to the restuarant. So that would be good for a group diner at the end of the 3rd day? Also Freudenstadt is right next to the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) where we could have a guided walk in the woods on de 4th day (restday). Would anyone be interested in a guided walk (with a professional guide that is)?

More reliable than my Z4 on my last big Euro trip!! But still loved it and trusted it like mad.

The SLK is proving to be inch perfect, nothing wrong in a month and nothing I want to take it back to the dealers for.

So much more to do with th comfort than anything else. Yes the Z4 is more of a purists sports car granted.

But the SLK is more solidly built and better screwed together.

Stark, no need to even respond to Bing's joke. The SLK is a real beauty and Bing is just kidding, as always

Glad to know that you will join us!!

Don't worry I'm used to the torture and the abuse, I am undergoing counselling and medication.

Everyone knows how much I loved my E89....I just needed something new and challenging.

A 35iS would not have been different enough if I had ordered one
