Day 15 Lens to Home - 390 miles
Up early today for the 7am departure. It's an easy drive to the Chunnel from here, about 70 miles on the autoroute.
We arrive home mid afternoon; the end of another excellent Euro tour. I'm really beginning to struggle for new roads to drive, having done a lot of touring over that last 10 years. We have enjoyed re-visiting some places on this trip, and having a bit more time to take it all in.
Highlights were -

Stelvio (3rd visit, still love it)

Lake Iseo
As always - The Alps
Mileage = 2912
Most miles in one day = 595
Fuel = £520
Tolls = £84
Vignette (Swiss road tax) = £24
Overall mpg = 28.2
We're going the Scottish Highlands later in the year; fingers crossed for the weather. As for 2010, we've been invited to a wedding in September, in Italy. Sounds like a good excuse for a bit of a drive
!
