That's a pretty damming case for leaving,I wonder why the Brexit lot weren't so articulate to justify leaving the Eu.
Mainly because even for the Brexit lot they weren't willing to peddle such bollox as the truth

I can't be arsed going into all of them - Cadbury were taken over by Kraft (An American company) and production was switched to Poland because it's cheaper.

It's not the EU's fault that we are in a global economy - what next stop dealing with America cos those cnuts stole our jobs and gave them to the dirty Poles  !

Of course none of that would have happened if we weren't in the EU...
Once we're out of the EU and American firms want to switch production to a country with direct access to the market they need Boris "cnut face" Johnson will no doubt personally provide grants to keep the jobs here .

Now Farage has thrown the towel in!

Do you think he has seen into Pandora's box that he has opened?

Did I hear correctly this morning that vat is being lowered to 15%?
Corporation tax.

The Tories are already starting to look after big business and f**k the "ordinary man".

With no opposition who's going to stop them !

VAT will most likely be doubled soon.

Petrol going up a couple of pence this week due to weak pound.

Why is corporation tax only big business? I pay 20% on profits as well which takes the funds out of the company, so out of my payroll to others and out of investments.

Osborne is proposing this to convince investors to remain in the UK - Any benefits to smaller UK Based companies will be clawed back somewhere else !

Enter squeaky clean new leader and maybe UKIP could do well? Not saying thats a good thing but it's a smart move, he knows he's hated by the masses.

Yes, the new dividend rules sure are a killer. So from every day I work, my total tax bill is now 54%.

Farage set out 17 years ago with one ambition. To get us out of the EU. Mission accomplished and how many politicians can say that on retirement?
Good luck to him

Name me one major technology company still running in the UK.

ARM Chipmaker.

Of course with the £ at a 30 year low it could be that someone will buy it at a bargain price.

wait a minute ...

+1

Whenever there's talk of "business", it's not always about Google, Amazon etc. Spare a thought for us, the SME's.

I worked for an organisation where PRF meant one thing to us Engineers and something completely unrelated to the inky fingers in the commercial dept!

In my work, SME = Subject Matter Expert or Small to Medium Enterprise. Problem with the IT industry is that there are only so many possible TLA's (17,576 in fact) and we're starting to reuse a number of them - so context is soooooo important now as well. For example, NFI means National Fraud Initiative.... but can also mean No Fucking Idea or Not Fucking Interested. Best not to get those confused .... :D
