It's very easy to get to on the Z - nothing much needs removing at all for access apart from the undertray. Much easier than it is on the 3 series. Even the 15 min bleed afterwards is fully automatic while the mechanic goes off and has a cup of tea.
I think me & my nephew changed the pump on my 3.0si in under an hour, it’s a quick & easy job :?
