They look nice, what sizes are they?

19 x 9 ET 29 & 19 x 10 ET 40

Weights are 9.93kg front and 10.21kg rear

And they’re on....
It must just be the angle of the pics but the fronts look like they have a bigger concave than the rears.
Look great though

I think it’s an optical illusion :?

Just been on an extended drive in the sun, with a passenger, I’m 99% certain there’s no rubbing.

Nice!👍

I've waiting for a set of 437m to arrive next week. They are m3/4 tyre size. I know someone who'll have the tyres. Had enough of the 326 cracking.

I was intending to go 235/35 or 245/35 and 265/30 rear. I've been reading about geometry and suspension to to decide what's best.

What size are you running now and how is the rubbing? From what I've read 255 rubs on the fronts. Rear are fine.

Thanks 😀

I’m on the standard M3/M4 tire sizes, which is what they came with... I’ve not noticed any rubbing on the fronts, even deliberately trying on full lock?

I thought I could hear rubbing on the rear every so often, but having been out in the car again today with a passenger neither of us could hear any rubbing at all :?

Thanks True-Blue.

I'll report on my experience. It sounds like I might be able to run the M4 sizes and when they need replaced I can size down. They are coming with MPSS which is a good tyre but I was planning to switch to MP4S.

I think this is a bit like @mr wilks has said on many wheel/tire threads in the past... could be that I’m escaping any rubbing as the tires are not brand new but are part worn, brand new tires could be rub-tastic!

I’m getting used to the way the car feels on 255F/275R but I still think it’s a bit OTT for the dynamics of the car :?

When I need to change them I’ll come down in size a little I think.

437M wheels arrived today. Test fitted a front left and rear left. Rear cleared with 275/35 (which was @5mm thread depth) but looked too big in the void to me. Front 255/35 (@5mm) was just touching the forward arch liner on full lock, rearward arch liner was just clearing. Front clearance to shock tower to tyre rim protector was ~10mm max. My car has an oil cooler at the fore arch liner on the front right, it's a vented cut out which I suspect would get damaged on 255/35. I didn't bother with a full test drive as I didn't want to risk any damage.

Note my car is a 35iS with stock suspension. The 35iS is ~10mm lower than the 35i I believe.

Thankfully I'd planned ahead and when I got new rear tyres last year I bought 265/30 MP4S. I've now had these moved to the rear and have a set of 235/35 MP4S coming tomorrow for the fronts. I'll put the 255/35 MPSS from the 437M on the rear of the 326M for resale. Then I'll have a set of 275/35 MPSS to flog to M crowd.

I'm running a set of M4 Brembo's with 370mm discs up front which cleared the 437M wheels.

It might well be possible to go for 245/35 up front and 275/30 rear perhaps wouldn't look too big.

I wonder how the the reduced un-sprung weight will impact the handling. The front 437M are ~4kg per corner lighter and ~3kg per corner at the rear.

I'll post up some pics when I get a chance.

Rich :)

I’d be interested to see the photo’s once done. Mine’s a 20i MSport, and despite not having rubbing issues I feel the M4 size tires look too big and that the car is over-tyred. I believe it would look and drive better without the ‘Carlos Fandango’ set up

Hi, do you have the revised tire sizes fitted yet and if so any photo’s? Thoughts?

Many thanks

Hi,

I've gone 235/35 front and 265/30 rear. Both MP4S. Side view attached. I'll sort more photos tomorrow. 235/35 clear on the front. 245/35 would have been tight.

Looks much better than the M4 tyres 255/35 and 275/35.

I'm thinking about these with PS4s on my white Z. What do you think?

I've found out, whilst thinking about replacing my 326's that its really hard to decide if I like a wheel or not, mainly because I like the look of the 326 so much on my car and everything else looks "worse". I ended up using a free app (GIMP) and superimposing pictures of the wheels onto my car helped me to visualise the finished result on my car... I quite like the fact these look similar to the 326s and are not completely black, but personal opinions will be varied I guess... Good luck choosing!

Here's a quick effort at doing that (if it helps!)
