Hello.

New here just got my car few days ago :)

So when I bought the car I tested to open the roof by remote with the key and it worked just fine.

..and now it does not, tought it was the battery and the battery was prettymuch done, but now the battery hasbeen replaced and it still does not work?
Is there like a reset or something I need to do?

It still works from the inside buttons.

I do and I did :/

The car had been sitting in the dealership for a while, could it be the keys battery? Is there any way to chek or to charge the key battery other than in the car?

I’ve heard of them being charged on electric toothbrush wireless chargers :o

When the battery was changed do you know if it was registered to the car, If not it may still think it has a bad battery, I know you said the roof worked when you bought it but are you holding the unlock button down long enough before deciding it’s not working?

The car would know the battery was no longer bad as the voltage levels are monitored, registration tells the car to change the charging algorithms as they alter over time as the battery deteriorates

It was not registered. It was exactly the same battery and we had a battery hooked up in the front when we did the swap, there were no error messages or problems but maby it does still think it has bad battery like you said?

It won’t think it’s got a bad battery but it should be registered

Ok, but why 🤔

Welp I guess it was the keys battery then :driving:
I had my key on my toothbrush charger all night and this morning when I was going to go work I tested it and it worked again

Now I want to know is there more liably way to charge the keys I wasnt even sure that my thootbrush charger was charging the key but I guess it was 🤔

more than proof of success? :D

Well yeah so I can know that the key is 100% Now I had to tape the key to the charger so it was a bit iffy :D
Would wireless phone charger work? It would have a flat surface to but the key on.
