One thing for sure Roy, they ain’t going down the way. GLWTS

The 35ises aren’t all that great, you know...!

I see this went over people’s heads, so just re-stating that the 35is is definitely a great Zed and is an M in all but name. There.

 You praise yours at all opportunities. Maybe an M in all but name but how does it stack up against a Calibra?

I thought the Calibra was the alcohol-free version?

I thought it was a fun free car - a bit Danny La Rue - all dressed up in a party frock :poke:

Then I did have several cavailers in my day including a GSi 16v 4x4 which was a great car

Heathen, you should be sticking up for your Cav prettier sister, I had plenty including Turbo’s of both models.

Anyway...... you did ask what I was replacing the 35iS with, no my fault you don’t like the answer

Heathen, I am more of a philistine  I like the odd Vauxhall - Astra GTe was a great car back in the day, I had a mint green calibra as well but all show and no go for me, same as Capri (I had one of those as well), Cortina in drag.

I think the camper is a great idea but a caravan and a tow bar on the 35iS would have been better - best of both worlds that way  :pok

That would get my vote too buts it too late now

If you do go own this route you'll be joing the Calibra forum

https://www.clubcalibra.com/,

just note though you won't fit in without some of these

Nice but think beige socks would go better

Afternoon all,

I have agreed a price to sell my car for subject to the potential buyer confirming that they want to proceed once they have viewed for £12,750. Just popped onto autotrader and if the pricing is right on the 35i for sale on there I may of undervalued my asking price. What would you do, sell it for the agreed price or ask for the similar prices on autotrader?

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202104271892143?model=Z4&radius=1500&aggregatedTrim=35i&make=BMW&price-to=30000&sort=datedesc&advertising-location=at_cars&postcode=rm14yu&include-delivery-option=on&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&page=1

mine is a 2010, with less miles

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202105082380480?model=Z4&radius=1500&aggregatedTrim=35i&make=BMW&price-to=30000&sort=datedesc&advertising-location=at_cars&postcode=rm14yu&include-delivery-option=on&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&page=1

This one has an upgraded hifi but same spec as mine.

Should I sell at the agreed price?

Why didn't you check prices first? Both links are for trade sales cars and they probably won't get full asking, therefore your £12,750 sounds about right for a private sale. If I was your purchaser, I would not be impressed if you put the price up once it has been agreed.

Trade will also have to pay VAT, cover warranty and any part ex allowance + running costs of the business etc.
