Talking of 35i - big bucks again https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194110735090?hash=item2d31e6c2f2:g:tXAAAOSwXJ9gli~S

Thats a bonny motor but missing an S from the badge IMO for that kind of asking price.

I'd be interested in what Argyll Andy sold his for, VO 35is cherished and loved car with top spec with all the bells and whistles included, based on that advert it should begin with a 3 :poke: :tumbleweed:

Totally agree but I do wonder if people just see 35i and think it is an iS so pitch the price up there or maybe they are trying to catch out someone who is looking for an iS.

Yes, I have been talking to Andy about his, I would have loved that car but just the wrong time for me, if he had waited 12 months then I would have been knocking on his door. :(

Thats a shame if you wanted it, Andy's car is a great buy for the new owner and that VO is a gorgeous colour, i've never bought a car in such a bold colour but I am surprised he actually sold it, hope he doesn't regret it

I would have loved it but finances were not in place right now for quite a few reasons and I was also surprised he had sold it as it was a great car (same as True-Blue) but we all have reasons to sell.

We had a 208GTi in Power orange and SWMBO said I am not driving it and then used every day and was gutted to see it go, now we have white, black and silver so pretty boring.

Mine is back up for sale due to the ebay winner never getting in touch - this time there is a classified add on Facebook but also one on the forum with a reduced asking price for members. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/928078201094802/

Thats the issue with Ebay - could count do a second chance offer to the guy who was send?

Yes staring to realise that ebay is a pain in the proverbial hence why I've put a classified on here linked to a Facebook marketplace advert - hopefully that will result in a better outcome

A gentleman never kisses and tells. not knowing the exact spec of that blue one but I do think that if that had an S and was slightly cheaper it’d be in the ballpark but as it is, strong money

I wouldn't expect you too Andy, especially since a fellow member purchased it.

That £25k blue car is an eye watering price IMO, it's nice but not that nice.

Lytham where the garage is based though is quite an affluent area so I wouldn't be surprised if they get full asking.

Someone is coming to look at my 35i today, hoping the price of the 35is doesn't rocket too much as that's my next purchase.

One thing for sure Roy, they ain’t going down the way. GLWTS

The 35ises aren’t all that great, you know...!

I was also surprised he had sold it as it was a great car

The Camper van and modern classic Vauxhall won’t pay for themselves

Oh and no regrets for at least 5 minutes after it disappeared from my drive

I wasn't aware Vauxhall made a modern day car never mind a classic

I take it VX220 maybe. :poke:

Not sure on the campervan idea though, how many times have you been stuck behind one of those hideous machines on those glorious Scottish roads

Nice van - you selling the house as well and moving south of the border or forming a blockade at the new frontier

Thought this would be more like it, buy these two and you should have plenty of change left after flogging that 35iS

I see this went over people’s heads, so just re-stating that the 35is is definitely a great Zed and is an M in all but name. There.
