Some very cheap E89s changing hands now
£7k to get you into a 2012 Msport 2.oi :o
ok it has 119k on the clock but great spec & colour its a cheap way into a good looking Z4 if the miles don't put you off

Looks good, but would an extra 2k get similar with a lot lower mileage, if so would it be better value?
Not sure myself, just wondering what a replacement engine or clutch would set one back?

which was kinda my point about a previous discussion we participated on a 2009 23i Msport... still up for sale a month later at the same price...

similar sort of thing for £7500..and low mileage!

But you are forgetting that yes, it's cheaper, but it's had an accident, hence why it's cheaper!

can't see anything on this one that says its had an accident.. certainly not as nice as yours from a colour/trim perspective though

Indeed its the old snakes & ladders scenario  miles down spend up , either way in my experience mileage is no guarantee of trouble free motoring .

thanks Mr W...
I had a look at the MOT, while nothing terrible as far as I understand, seems its done the miles alright.

It's a vinyl embossed to look like leather. Excuse the mess.
Not seen any plastic ones in the UK... the only option was a cloth seat, leather or alcantara ones... I thought

Cars in really hot countries usually spec with vinyl/cloth as the very high summer temperatures can make the leather crack up very quickly indeed.

I can attest to the cracked and torn leather seats in many cars here under 10 yrs old. This fake leather looks the bit and wears like iron without special treatment

Not much chance of the sun cracking the seats in Yorkshire. Waterlogged maybe . . . .

:? Yikes  Looks like Texas in the hurricane season here. I may just stay put - this bit of Mediterranean climate is mostly lovely which makes for good year round driving fun.

Seems like a very very slow market at the moment. Any idea what is going on guys?

Its winter,December is the slowest for car sales
The market is crap for all cars.
Second hand value for sports cars is in freefall.
Convertibles in winter aint great sellers.

Z4 is a very niche market in the best of times. Let's face it, a two seater convertible, whilst a nice car, is not exactly a practical motor. So the market will be naturally small anyway. Add to that Christmas and people have other spending priorities and you ain't going to shift a Z4 easily. Which is why I got my 35is at a very good price since Keith needed to shift it and I came along looking for a bargain and got one.

Very nice Atacama Yellow 35i manual only 11k miles £17,995 any takers?

Before anyone gets too excited, it's a 35i, not 35iS.

Looks very good, though.

Ah here is a 35is at £19,950 at 36k miles then..?

In Atacama Yellow of course..no iDrive..

The 'Description' is '19" alloys', the 'Specification' is '18in Light Alloy Star-Spoke Style 295'.

The latter looks right and could well be better than the former.

Wow. Nice car for the money. They cost more here. It solves the outdated technology issue.
There is no technology  Does that mean it has an oil dip stick or an idiot light?
