Dyno'ed my 3.0si - 254.6 bhp!

Only eye candy mods - with no engine mods... running on 99 Ron fuel and had oil change last week (but old 10k miles plugs and air filter)

Certainly was a good laugh - I want to get a nice performance exhaust now and go for another run!

They had this huge fan up front (which i cropped out of the pics) :

But my car's engine temp maxed at 23 degrees - compared to the Ferraris which were running at 70+ degrees!

Nice result, are they 265 ps standard?

Those ferrari's would have needed air blasted into the side pods to keep them cool :)

Hi,

I'm thinking of having mine on a rolling road, remapped after a new exhaust. What BHP do you think you could safely go to, without wondering about when you need to replace the next part through wear and tear etc?

Unless you had a baseline, that dyno is pointless. Or unless this WAS your baselline dyno run. Should've just gotten the WHP. You can't measure the engine HP unless you physically take out the engine and dyno the engine itself. The numbers they gave you were just a guesstimate after factoring drivertrain loss into the equation, which they simply guessed. They could've made the numbers any way they wanted to make it look good/bad, etc.

This is very true the bhp is only a guestimate - my car is totally stock engine/ exhaust wise... so doesnt get any more base then this

The WHP was on th printout - in the small grid whch is just about visible on the screen - 224.1 WHP on 108's.
