DSC, ABS and Handbrake Lights - Pump Failure?

Hi

These 3 lights have been intermittently coming on in my Z4MC for the past 6 months or so, along (when they do stay on I get a loud beep after pulling away). I've read a few threads on here and the default answer seems to be the ABS/Hydro Pump which appears to be made of a particularly soft type of cheese.

Anyway, my question is whether anyone knows if I can determine conclusively that it is indeed the ABS/Hydro Pump, as this would allow me to get it refurbished rather than paying BMW a load of money for diagnostics and a very expansive replacement part. I've used a code reader and it shows the following:

005E5B
005DF4
005DF1
005DF0

Annoyingly our 335i flashed up a load of DCS/ABS warnings on Sunday, so I expect the 'intermiittent phase' of failure has begin. Fortunately that car is covered under a BMW Warranty so less of an issue.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes them same 3 lights on mine was the pump
I had an indy send it off to be refurbished and got a lifetime warranty.

I got the diagnostics read on a proper diagnostic system and it pointed conclusively to the pump.

Plus it's cheaper to refurb the pump than it us for 2 hours of BMW dealer labour so it's worth a gamble.

I recognise some of those codes, definitely the pump or hydro unit, or both, however I had a bad experience sending mine to bba reman to be repaired. Claimed both pump and ecu had failed which I think is doubtful, it either one or the other, unrepairable so wanted £800 for an exchange. I smelt a rat and asked for it to be returned. What came back looked like it had been removed from a scrap car, not the one I sent from a 25k Z4M. Had to threaten Police involvement to resolve. Very unhappy. Mangaged to get a 2nd hand one from my specialist in the end.

wtf.... disgrace.

I had mine done at ecu testing. I wrote the reg number on it in permanent marker in a few places and took photos of it just in case.

I needn't have bothered. ECU testing were very efficient and I got my pump and control module back in perfect working order for a very reasonable price.

Realise it's been a good while since I posted this, but as it was an intermittent fault it managed to dodge a couple of MOTs before becoming permanent. Got it fixed a CPC who do the work in-house now, which makes it nice and easy. That along with an Inspection II came in at a reasonable price so back to 100% health now.

That said, didn't miss traction control - just kept me alert.
