DSC Abs Problems, and an Air Bag Fault

Hi,
Recently bought this car knowing there were some electrical issues and just got it scanned. Two issues that would prevent me from getting an MOT are:
ABS
"1.5D99 DSC: DSC Sensor: No Data Connection"
"2.5D8C DSC: Sensor: No Data Connection"
SRS (Supplemental Inflatable Restraint System - Airbag/SGM-SIM)
"1.93D7 ACSM: Internal Control Unit- Fault"

Any information on how to repair these would be very helpful.

Airbag one looks like a generic ‘unit failed’ for the central control module- seeing this frequently now as a result of battery flat jump starting- will need replacing and recoding if the code won’t clear

Are all the codes persistent?

The dsc ones are worth putting into Google but I think point to a dsc unit failure

Yes they are persistent. Theyre the ones that came back up after clearing them, and the warning lights stay on whilst driving. I thought the air bag would be fairly standard. Just not sure where to go with the DSC. The mechanic said it could need refurbing the abs module

The fact that it says ACSM I take to mean you have a facelift module? These are less prone to failure. I think someone on here got one fixed.
I’ll try to dig it out for you.

Have a read of the whole thread, but he mentions getting it fixed somewhere near the bottom of page two.

EDIT: In fact it seems you could be lucky by finding a replacement module with the same part number and it may be plug and play.

If you pop out the coin holder behind the handbrake you can just see the module under there. you need to get the part number from it.
It's the number highlighted, though possibly will be a different number on yours.
