Had it at The Workshop for a PPI and a quick look at the DSC, they confirmed no connection to the DSC module.
I have it booked in again with them in 2 weeks (busy shop) to further look into diagnosing the ABS issue. But a chat did seem to point towards a dead module, or potentially another random issue like a bad earth etc
I’m wondering weather its worth picking up a matching second hand module (I’ve found one local for £200), get that checked and refurbed at ECU testing preemptively then use the slot in 2 weeks to install the working module?
It would be tricky for me to remove and send my own module away myself due to my parking/limited workspace situation, It’d also hopefully resolve my issues sooner, as I have an MOT test looming which I will obviously fail with current issues. Being my only vehicle, it is a factor to consider.
Is this a reasonable plan, or am it too eager to diagnose it as the module?
