Some of us are are a bit introvert , others are real extroverts , hmmmm an intovert with roof down blasting out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3t9SfrfDZM seems a bit of a contradiction :rofl: peeps can be a bit put off by the stronger personalities within the forum , not that they are doing anything wrong, being themselves , they start discussion and banter which is the essence of this place. :thumbsup:
 
Im guessing most forums have the same issue. Youve got the old guard and the new guard and the same questions will arise simply because we've exhausted all other conversation about our cars [see Bing's epic 8 million posts in 2.5 days :wink:)

How about using the Alan J method? He has a great link under his sig that provides all advice for when looking for a Zed. Perhaps we could sticky a master thread containing most/all questions that are frequently asked. That way if you must reply (and per Ruby's note, you really dont have to) then you could simply tell them to click on the link below.

...by the way you've forgotten Add Yourself to Broken Springs, Suspension Upgrades, Which pads (Yellowstuff?) and which girl has the greatest breasts, bum, legs etc. (with pics and NSFW tag).

I used to visit a Cycling Forum called 'Bikeradar'. The times a post such as 'what's the best bike for £500' or £1000 or £1500 etc etc was written it did my head in so now I don't bother to visit it for my sanity.
The trouble with new posters is that are often too lazy to conduct a decent search of the forum for an answer to their query. :thumbsdown:

Well said. This is the key thing for any forum irrespective of it's audience.

Unfortunately most forums end up with a core of people who just can't not comment on something, or generally drag it off in an irrelevant direction. It's exceptionally frustrating reading a thread, only to find pointless off topic comments about whether a coupe is better than a roadster.

But that's the internet for you.

BTW - I've just taken this thread off topic as well!

it takes all sorts doesn't it?
I like that about forums, the story arc is unpredictable,
Off topic and back is more natural conversation.
if I just wanted the answer I would RTFM.
