how do I tell if I have xenons?

I could have done with knowing this before I bought my car

However, I'd still have bought it, just got a couple of hundred quid off :D

Oh, and - "should I have one or two rear fog lights", closely followed by "what is brake force lighting ?"

As a relative newby I'd ask established members to be patient with new members - I spend most nights looking through the forum posts and still don't know my way around it all - it has been essential to get some information and interesting finding out about other members' views and attitudes. i've used the search function but found it limiting - sometimes clarification is needed - does eveyone go back to their original string? Having access to so much knowledge and experience with Z4s is the draw for me (and I suspect many other newbies) so plaese don't post anything which might put them off asking or searching for info - most of us end up being redirected and we learn where to look from this - but reassurance and support are a couple of things which make this forum particularly useful - some newbies might be reluctant to post in case of being seen as a nuisance or for fear of looking an idiot - I think all newbies appreciate the effort and commitment shown by founding and long term members of the forum - patience and understanding included.

Paul, the huge majority of us will always help out if we can. Some of us have a somewhat unique approach, but is all (and I include this thread) meant well
