I'm happy for anyone to drive mine that I trust, my wife knows she has to be careful though, it's only kerbing the wheels that I'm worried about not it being driven per say

You even let me drive it!! :D

I could tell you really hadn't let your lust for the pram top wain, and I trust you!! :driving:

My dad scares me when he drives but he drove my Z twice with me as passenger and he drove it well, bit like a granny but I rather that than the opposite.

My mate, I chucked him the keys and stayed indoors as I'm a cr@p passenger.

He returned half an hour later smiling but in true beemer driver style replied, "its fun, but not as good as my car"

He dive an Audi A6 1.9 tdi and a 550i.

Dont think he was on about the A6 :D

My wife once....... couldn't get her to step on it....
My mechanic friend that sold me a Zed 3

and the guy that bought it 2 weeks ago .....and that's all :driving: !

My wife is allowed to drive it, but she won't. Her choice, no pressure from me. I've let my daughter drive it, she used to own an Audi TT so she understands. Besides, I trust them both.

You'd let me have a go in that lovely 991S though wouldn't you G? :P

I'll only let a few like-minded friends take it for a spin, all good drivers and understand the concept of "you break it, you pay it". Even let them on the track some times.

My GF's taken it around large car parks as i wanted her to learn it a bit in case an emergency happens or anything but she doesn't like it... Not used to cars with manual gearboxes...

Err...... well as long as you're over 105 years of age then yes :P

I let my Dad drive it once after Golf as I was feeling a bit tired.

10 mins of serious injury-inducing whiplash later, I asked him politely to park the Z4M and stick to his Merc Automatic.

I no longer felt tired. :)

 actually I let my dad have a go at driving my ///M once..then 5 seconds later I told him to get out.

I let my wife drive the M3 once, she did remarkably well with the heavy clutch and the tendency to bounce the front end (CDV not modded), however we didn't actually get the revs over 2500 so very sedate.

In the Zed (mine not hers, the one with 385hp and 425 lbs of torque) she was going so slow on the #1 Highway I was afraid we would get rear-ended. I eventually got her to put her foot in it a bit more and take us up to the speed limit of 110kmh. :headbang: That was the only time she tried it.
