Debadged front wings

I have noticed that the 3.0 si on the left wing looked a bit off. As can be seen in the photo. So I decided to whip out the dental floss. I found that not only was it crooked, it was also broken at the dot between the 3 and 0. And there is a very small dimple there. Who knows, it could be trolly damage. But no idea really. No paint damage though. All in all. It looks much better without the cockeyed lettering.

or maybe a previous owner played around with the badges ?
have you checked the engine to make sure it has 6 cylinders ? :D

Took mine off - much happier without the letters spoiling the lines on the side of the car

Oh crap! That might explain why the smart cars are embarrassing me. By the way. Does BMW make an air cooled flat four? :o

Unless it has an ///M badge on it. :poke:

That's not a letter, it's a badge of honour 8)

Wouldn't do that to an ///M :o

I'm with you there Bing!

Except you dont want people thinking you have a 2.0 :fuelfire:

I can assure you there is no danger of anyone thinking that. Not for very long anyway :P

mine came from BMW without any - it is there now having them put on ( Adamski was right on this one) It is a 3.0si after all and i want reminding when I walk to it!

To be honest. I probably wouldn't have bothered taking them off were it not for the fact that the one was a little catawampus. And it surely isn't worth the effort nor expense to put it back on. Although. My local BMW dealer is having a sale on M badges. HMMMM! :fuelfire:
