Debadged

FFS! Really?
Next thing we'll all have to spray them black I suppose?
It's a car badge! Been there for nigh on 20 years. :headbang:

Just checked, mine only have one, on the back.
The E85 does have a Z shape on one side and a reversed one on the other.
Got a party pack of filler coming to sort that.

While everyone is at it debadging you may as well switch to stubby as well!

:D :D

And install LCI indicators if you don't have them.

The Z stands for: Zukunft

Which is German for Future.
Cool story 8)

I wouldn't worry about the Z, one country has not the power to appropriate our alphabet!

Stop it!

I'm trying to get everyone to debadge, go stubby and LCI!
It's a movement!

I de badged because of all the dirt and microfibre cloth strands caught around them. It’s a cleaner look.
I also have a stubby, but I prefer the pre LCI indicators!

Debadged around November.

No Z on my German prowler.
Why, are you ashamed of it!!

Not at all ashamed of the car. Love it.

Just suddenly became conscious of the symbolism of the "Z".

That "Z" means squat..
I met my Wife in Kyiv back in 2002, we have extended family there and my daughters grandparents - both in 80's 90's.
We also own two properties in Kyiv.

I wouldn't debadge. Something I have seen for decades now is that the only bmw's that de-badge around here are the ones trying to hide the fact that they have the low models of a series (and in the 90's you'd probably find an "M" sticker on it). As a person who came from Hondas its like seeing a DOHC VTEC sticker on a low model beater civic. To me, its even worse.

Poor OP. If he’s removed the Z badge from his German prowler because of … honestly I have no idea … wait until he learns BMW was a Nazi war machine that bombed England. I reckon he’ll torch his German prowler.

I’m seriously considering doing this when the car is in the

The only change I've made to the car is to remove the 'Z4', because the car as a whole and the tail especially look less cluttered without it.
