Comfort Access.

Comfort access for UK cars seems very rare. Mine has pretty much every thing except. Even my 11 year old Mazda has keyless entry and start.

it is strange how rare it is but I guess people wanted other options first and they are not cheap so prices rack up quickly

I agree comfort pack more useful.

Keyless entry and start makes the car crims job so much easier too

That's exactly what I was thinking too!

The keys on comfort access cars are different to non comfort access.
The comfort access key has a small square removable cover on the rear to remove and replace the battery.
The key is not rechargeable like other cars as you have no reason to pop it in the key hole where it recharges.

yep, the student mover.
What colour is it? I only ask cos it would be spooky if it is my old one!
Grey. I might get rid of it and the wife’s car now. She can have a motobility car now. She won’t be able to drive it though.

Not mine (black). Of all the cars I've had my 2011 Mazda6 175 diesel estate is in my top 5 favourites. Brilliant car. I had a newer one too (2017 model), not a patch on the previous.
BTW sorry to hear about your wife :(

This is not correct for Z4, mine has comfort access, the doors open when you slip your fingertips underneath the handle where the led light is. No ridges either that I can see

Must differ by model/year or something like that as it had ridges on previous Z4’s I looked at and has ridges on my G29 with comfort access

And to confuse things even more if you have iDrive under locks you will see comfort entry.... all that does is lower your windows half way when getting in. My Toyota IQ has comfort access its really handy, got ridges on the handles, you just open the door and push button to start.

This is the drivers door handle of my keyless open and ignition comfort access Zed - no ridges etc. The door unlocks as you slip your fingertips underneath the handle, just about where the LED's are.
