Just changed the colour of my new 35i order from Black to Glacier Silver decided Black would take to much maintaince the 23i I own now in Titanium looks pretty clean even when its dirty and been looking at lots of Black cars with there dusty bonnets and swirly cloth marks and thought nope just to much trouble have I done right? :tumbleweed:

Black cars when clean = amazing, keeping black cars clean = not so amazing.

Silver cars aren't my favourite, but they are a good colour to keep clean as they never exist as spectacularly reflective or especially dirty looking IMHO.

Not sure what the diff is between titanium and glacier tho?

Did mineral white not tempt you? its a lovely colour in the flesh, almost pearl like... still trendy recession white, but with a bit of pizzaz..

They look pretty much the same maybe the Glacier is a bit lighter know what you mean about Black cars they look great in the showroom and when clean but having had a 3series in Shaffire Black I know what a pig it was to keep looking nice and also had some bird poo on it never did get that mark out so thought what the hell another Silver one. 8)

Who's is that Maniac? I ordered that exact colour combo, I thought the Mineral White only became available without the 'Pure Balance' package this year.

Its more reflective than white that's for sure, the inevitably the darker you go the more reflective it is. Dark paint is good when clean, not so good when dirty (most of the time). :(

What Interior are you going for with the Silver ? IMHO on roadsters you need a contrasting interior rather than the black to give the car some pizzaz.

Silver also hides swirling well - whilst Black tends to show its swirls more .

I do like the orange... Really really... Though I've only seen it on youtube so far and may hate it in real life?

Not so keen on darker colours as its hides the lines of the car so silver is an excellent choice  Went for the red interior for a nice contrast and to lighten up the interior with the roof up :)

I like the orange but a bit of a novelty colour that will wear off.

Tim.

Personally my favourite is still deep sea blue. I'd have had that if I could have found it on the spec of car I wanted.

I had a deep sea blue X5 with cream leather and walnut trim. Loved it and was easier to keep clean compared to black. However for the Zed I prefer bright colours, red, yellow and the new orange.
I parked next to a deep sea blue zed at the weekend at Cooper Durham and at first glance you would think they were completely different cars. Mine looked like a fast sports car as the blue one looked like an elegant roadster. Both looked fab for different reasons.

I think Melbourne Red with walnut is by far and away the best colour for a zed :D

Saw a Orange Z in the dealers when I was there a couple of weeks ago trust me its a very aquired tast and certainly not what I would want to drive 8) ,on a lighter note just drove home from work and wilst waiting to get out of turning saw an oldish couple mid to late sixtys come by in a 13plate white 911 cabrio with the hood down  good on them thinks me. :driving: :driving: :driving:

The deep sea blue looks refined and very grown up.

Doesn't shout look at me especially with "normal" wheels on.

Depends what your looking for.

Does show up dust a bit but not as much as the black.

Silver for myself is just a tad dull and normal but very good for resale ?

White looks fab but stands out a mile, and need catlicks to keep it looking clean in normal use.
