Cat N coupe with Amarone leather

Agree with you on the interior colour - it also looks like it has the M Sport steering wheel, cruise control and Xenons but as you say seems way to much money in that condition with 154k miles

Yes, it's a very well specced car. But if this was up at one of the normal salvage yards I'd be surprised if it went for more than £3.5k. Still, you can't blame him for trying!

That colour interior could work well with a wood trim.

Or maybe it looks better with Piano Black!

Looks like it's got heated seats and parking sensors too, but much as I love the colour combination it does look too dear for a Cat N with that mileage. Especially as someone on here struggled to get £4K a few weeks ago for his E86 on 160K miles (presumably not a "CAT" car).

I've been in this car.. I went to look at it when I was home in Scotland in November. Came from Livingston. It probably has a cam chain issue too as well as the obvious bodywork. I could have bought it there and then for £3.5k but didn't. The lady was going to sell without going through the insurance but in the end decided to claim and got £6k. It was very grubby and not well looked after. The wheels were a mess too. I suspect the seller has realised its going to require more than originally thought to get up to scratch...
I was there with my laptop sorting out issues etc in her husbands work carpark.. a school playground lol... He drove it like a nutter too..
I obviously didn't buy at the time but she did tell me later that it went to Copart just incase I was still interested...
It was a nice spec butl rough and the mileage is obviously high.. Tyres shot too.. Needs a lot of work... That's why I passed even at £3.5k. I reckoned it was £2k tops to buy then repair but even then you be looking at other cars for about £5-6 without the grief.. Needs two facelift Xenons... Not easy to find lol...probably better to break if bought cheap from copart

That went for 4K, and yes it was a difficult sell with 162,000 miles on it, 12 services, non category, perfect condition inside, red heated leather, parking sensors, new rear tyres, fantastic all round condition no odd noises from the smooth engine, I guy flew into London from Sweden and bought it off me in London he then t drove home,he paid for it without seeing it, he got a complete bargain in my opinion but I am biased.

We have an open invite to Sweden for a holiday at his place, he sent a picture of the car in the snow, he has another low mileage e86 that will be for sale soon.

We bought a new car 2 miles from where he bought the z from us, we met at a hotel, it was the most civilised car sale you could ever imagine.

Why nobody in the uk bought that car I will never know, or indeed come and look at it bar 1 local who said it was very well priced and was coming back the next day, although to be fair I had just chopped a bit of the dogs tail off by accident just before he arrived so when I opened the door it resembled a murder scene in the hallway which was possibly off putting, the tail was trapped in a door unfortunately the dog decided it made him want to wag its tail very fast so a sprinkler of blood ensued....you had to be there to appreciate this scene, I had to rush off to work with the dog I warned the Mrs but it didn’t fully prepare her for what she encountered bless her.
