You meaning this part :D

" This Will make an awesome Track Toy or even with a little tender loving care a lovely weekend driver

As you know values are climbing steadily, although V-Car registered this car and other similar cars will increase in value too, but will remain to hold a margin until they become so thin on the ground the margin will disappear
And for the purists out there, i wonder how many of your cars have been damaged and repaired via insurance therefore unrecorded and unknown to any future owner. Just something for you guys to think about before you start slating registered vehicles as you do. On the plus side they come cheaper this way with no hidden past. A great affordable way into Z4MC ownership!

IM IN NO RUSH TO SELL SO PRICE IS VERY FIRM ALTHOUGH I MAY CONSIDER A PX ? "

although i do like this extra info tagged on at the very bottom of the advert like its a swift cheap fix :P

"There are other age related marks in places to take into consideration so this car could ideally do with a full respray to make perfect

Traction Control/ABS light is illuminated along with Tyre pressure light"

Looks like it's had paint on both sides, looking at the wing areas where the bolts are, and it's manky under the bonnet. Surely you'd get the traction lights etc fixed before advertising it..

If the damage was so "light" than it would have been a Cat D.. "The vehicle is repairable but repair costs are significant compared to the vehicle value – including time delays to source parts."

Rather than a Cat C.. "The vehicle is repairable but the costs exceed the vehicle’s value."

That alone indicates the damage was more than the "front corner" at 18 months and 10k miles, what would this have been worth, and for the repair costs to be more than this???

Also being sold as follows:

TRADE SALE

It is expressly agreed that the purchaser of the vehicle sold on this invoice is a business and is not dealing as a consumer for the purpose of the consumer Rights Act 2015

Affordable Motors Uk Ltd Strongly recommend that the vehicle is inspected before being used on a Public Highway. No warranties are supplied, implied or given under any circumstances

This vehicle is supplied under the Second hand margin scheme

Very much a case of

caveat emptor

They deal in scrapped/damaged repairable cars, would be wise to check what"s on the sales contract before buying. IF anyone is thinking of heading in that direction. Checked via google the company renewed itself 1 year ago.

If the paint is blistering after seven years you wonder at the quality of the rest of the repair. Numberplate covered so you cannot run an MOT history check.

Taking the usual % off for Cat C status he's assuming a base retail valuation of say £18-21k for a low mileage MC, but that would only apply if his car was otherwise mint, with full carefully documented history, no faults and probably a warranty. But it's not, it's clearly a dog and he could be in for a long wait! Totally deluded :crazydude:

I enquired about this car to double check it was the 33k miler Cat C from autotrader. The seller was less than amicable about gaining the registration plate to check MOT history.

He did however say that he has the repairers number and there is only one service (running in) in the history.

Unable to confirm anything about the car but a bad seller will put most off.

Unwilling to give the reg, well that phone call would be at an end pretty sharpish. If he had nothing to hide, then surely the reg would be on show in the ad.. And as for the (lack of) service history.. Prob worth £10k max, if that.
