carbon wraping dash and console now done looks great

I have just acquired an Alu dash trim but IMO it has a few too many knocks to be used as is. If anybody is interested in using it for a carbon wrap project please let me know. Also if anybody has a decent alu panel going spare (the big dash piece), then I'm in the market for one.

well I have just bought the wrap off e bay and will be doing the job myself seen a few vid's on youtube and it looks simple ,the worst part will be striping out the dash in the zed, the wrap only cost £35 , after seeing this stuff at ulimite dubs in telford two weeks ago its looks like the real thing and I can only think that it can inprove the interior of the car

that looks really good, i think thats going on my list of jobs to try, but i dont think ill go carbon, maybe a glossy black to mimic the piano trim, or a titanium.

z4phil, you should be on the wales run at weekend, you could show it off

would come but got relations staying this weekend and its a 2.5 hour run for me to get there, I may come to the next one but stay over the night before

Looks good, but if you thing removing the dash trim was bad wait till you do the centre console, it really is a PITA.

Must get round to doing my door pulls.

Have you got the link to the CF you bought. I assume it's fabric like I bought, but mine seems a little to shiney where as yours appears to me more matt effect.

looks cool, how much have you had to buy, dimension wise, to get the whole lot done? and does the little part of the dash next to the light control just pull off?

That's what I used on my first aid boxes... given the texture I was surprised how easy it was to use, how well it was worked using a hair dryer. Although I was doing something that tucked under the seat. Dash is another matter entirely, good job

has anyone tried the genuine carbon fibre fabric wrap? what is the finish like?

edit, is this real carbon with a sticky back?

Great work!

I've been thinking of warping the dash, etc, but having black seats and carpet trim it will look to dark and gloomy. any ideas of a more lighter option? what do you guys think of a more grey/silvery CF wrap?

Looks like there's a few options
