The JD Power survey this year put Audi well above BMW, it seems JDM isn't the only one who has had problems with BMW at the moment. My P&J is at the dealers having the heated seat replaced and the front bumper replaced due to paint peel.

Thanks. Residuals are strong. It's the 2.0 tdi s line which is supposed to hold the most value out of the diesel range from research I have done... Test drove one this evening and Is a very strong and torquey engine. 177 bhp and over 55mpg supposedly.

Intend to keep 3 to 4 years and then trade in for something else.

Payments are not far off what I am paying on the zed but will be saving on fuel, tax and insurance.

Thanks SARS.. Customer service at BMW I feel is shocking. As I said even BMW uk aren't bothered.

I look at it as its no different to trading a car in. They have no reason to mess me about. If anything I'm saving them time effort and money by not pursuing things further
 
Im have had BMW's on and off for 25 years and its the first time i have felt that they are going in the wrong direction..So in a similar vein,maybe a defection is on the cards..

I have owned over 20 BMW's and the newer they get,the worse they seem.. I dont like it..

Really nice car JDM, shame it ended up like this, but I hope you have a much better experience with Audi. Just don't let them infect you - this place will remain your antidote to becoming an Aushole :thumbsup: :D

Looks nice, also not impressed with BMW service at the moment. Something needs to be done otherwise owners will migrate, Audi had upped its game and could be a good option B
 
Shame BMW let you down badly, but the Audi looks great :thumbsup:

Looks like i will be going the Audi route in the new year the GF wants a TT :|

We will both be in the Audi brigade, my FD has got my Alpina now and I'm getting an A5 in a couple of weeks, hope Original Guvnor doesn't hold it against us! :D
