Can you see yourself owning anything other than a zed?

I actually would really like a Z4M, but I just can't justify the extra cost at the moment.

What makes it doubly difficult is that I absolutely love my present Zed - I've just about got it how I want it and it would be very hard to part with it, it's just such a nice car. :driving:

Ya know what, I'm gonna be controversial here, out of the two cars I have now, if I had to choose I'd probably go with the E39.

It's just so much more relaxing and easy to drive than the Z4. Yes, my Z4 drives brilliantly (well, hopefully it will after tomorrow) and is great when it's a nice clear night, or sunny day. But by and large, when I get out of work, or the gym, and I'm physically and mentally exhausted, the E39 just cossets me, the Z4 just shakes me all the way home. The E39 is the more useful all round car out of the two.

Fortunately, I don't have to choose, so I have both :D

Three answers depending upon circumstances.

Work goes well / stays the same and I act sensibly - No, not for a good few years; I don't need anything more from a car than the Zed delivers and I bloody love it. :)

Work goes well / stays the same and I have a rush of blood to the head - Yes, I'll have a nicely specified Cayman S please.

Work goes belly-up - Regrettably yes, I'll be in a shed of some description before I know it.

No other car has given me such a difficult "next car" dilemma...
:?
So much value for money, head turning looks, reliability, sound and performance.
Even after owning 3 TVR's (Griffith/Tuscan/Griffith), the Z4 is better, just enough performance to have fun but not kill myself or lose my licence in a heartbeat, and not too many nasty bills (roof motor excluded).

I'm stumped. Recently looked at Boxster (looking old now) Cayman (weird rear 3/4 looks) and E89 (compromised boot space, but better looking than either) Maybe an E85 Z4M with the right spec but a lot more expensive to run........... :?

I bought my Z in June of this year so I've not owned her very long. But I owned her long enuff to know that if I EVER change rides it will for a newer Z. I've owned several sports cars and roadsters in my lifetime and have always had a SUV for winter driving or hauling. My Z4 3.OSi is a awesome ride! :P
