Can you see yourself owning anything other than a zed?

strangely no- never been that way with a car, may be down to the fun of the forum but mines here to stay, will by an x5 as well when I need back seats.

Being 6"4 the Z can feel a little compact at times, may go back to a 330 for the extra leg room or try a 350z roadster.

Well not at the moment as nothing else in this price range fits the bill. All other options that I would consider are too expensive for me personally especially when you factor in running costs. Nothing else as sexy at this price point in my opinion. Keep thinking about an elise but I just don't think I would use it enough.

Next step a Viper.........but I'll probably regret it and get something sensible within a year of buying one !

However I must say that I'll be keeping the Z for a few more years yet......luv it

I see the Zed as a stepping stone to bigger and better things one day but I still love it to bits and won't be getting rid for quite a while yet.

Absolutely love the Zed, but I do love nice cars, so I won't kid myself into thinking I wouldn't buy a Ferrari if I could afford it..... :poke:

Aston Martin V12 Vantage/Dodge Charger/Audi RS5. To name only 3. However they'll never happen in the near future and as such I've landed on the door step of the Z4. And Love it. :D

I disagree, but I'm unmarried with no kids. My Z is my daily driver, and I find myself purposely taking the long way home quite often.

I've had my Zed for close to two years now, and I'm still sure I made the best choice for where I'm at in life. There's nothing else I'd realistically want to drive. What sort of worries me is what comes next once I wear this one out. Still many years until then, a lot can happen, but currently there's nothing out there that's affordable that I'm interested in. Not too keen on E89s, closest thing I might like is maybe a Boxster S. There's still time for someone to invent something though!

Good question! A 650 coupe is tempting, 2007 models sub £20K at the moment. More frugal than the 645 and what a v8 lump! If I can convince the missus she'd want to drive it I can buy one for her (cough) :D

I'd have to disagree also. If you were blindfolded and put in to a Z4 then a 3 series I bet you would struggle to tell the difference. The Z4 isn't special enough to be considered a weekend car IMO.

I came from a VX220 so I may be biased, but I also used that car everyday in all weathers and again struggled to see why people would think it was only a weekend car.

Fancy a 370z when prices drop but im not sure if it is a big enough step up in terms of power but im more than happy with what ive got for the next couple of years and still enjoying every drive :driving:
