Can you see yourself owning anything other than a zed?

I absolutely love my Z and can't see myself changing it for anything else, I've had it for 3 years now and I think the next step for me will be a 35i. Maybe next year.
I reckon I could see myself in a Porsche 911 or something in a few years time after an E89, but i'll always love the Z.

Still shopping for my entry into Zed territory now that the Elise has departed, but I'm sure the one I get will be a keeper.
Enjoy the next 5-10 years Gentlemen/Ladies as the age of the milk float is almost upon us and certainly this period from say the 50's until 2020 will be considered the golden age of motoring.

I'm just glad to have been here to see it :D

I would love a (new shape) Chevy Camaro, but not in the UK

1. To big to park
2. To thirsty on fuel
3. Needs California sunshine, not this pish we call a summer

6 of my 7 last cars have been Zeds - since 1998. (took a break with a VW Golf in Australia for a year). My M Sport should be OK for 2-3 years than a 911 methinks.

its not really a choice I get to make ..........
I was looking at a V12 6 litre monster a while back ............
My girl just mentioned, that of course being the man I get to choose what kind of car we drive etc etc .........
but if I think Im getting any of this ..... (points to herself) if I come home with that ....... (points to car i had in mind) ....... I had better think again.

So it was another Zed ...... M series this time ....... Red. ...... :D

This will be my last BMW for sure. It's fun but I've always been a practical car guy. This was a gift to myself for getting my degree and getting a job. I miss having 4 doors and no car payment, though. I've owned a few Hondas over the years and they were good to me. I'll probably be back behind the wheel of an Accord in a year or two.

I do love my car, but with the advent of the four pot turbo in lieu of the 3.0 litre six, I will probably not get another e89.
Toying with the idea of keeping it for four years or 100,000 miles which ever comes first :driving:

911 Turbo. I'm also of the view that we're in the golden age of motoring and cars will all turn to boring hybrids and electric cars over the next 20 years.I'm going to save for the next 5 years and then get the best 911 I can afford, then keep it forever.

I'm man of simple needs, so im more keen in paying off the old mortgage before im 40 instead of blowing my cash on a new motor - Although i do like the look of the rumor mill Z2 and its estimated price bracket

a mutated MX5/SLK/Z4?

when I had my last car, I thought you cant get a better car than this, I'll have it forever.... 2 years later I go for a drive in my friends Z4... all of a sudden, I have the skyline up for sale and I'm searching carsales.com for my own Z4.

Currently cant think of another car I would rather own, but there's a good chance that will change one day as above.

Currently would prefer a 2nd car (4wd to tow bikes/boat, go camping, etc)

I just spent ages looking around for a a new ride .........
and honestly - everything out there, bar ferraris and lambo's all look the same ...........
even the aston with its wonderful sweeping curves could be mistaken for a passat :D :D well not quite but you get the drift.

The Z4 is unique in looks ........ and price wise, its not stupid and doesn't shout "w***er" ...... everybody comments how good looking it is.

So ...... only thing I could do was buy another one, bit more poke this time.

Can't see me changing for a long time. It's an ideal combination of a weekend fun car and daily drive, realistic piced motoring, practical car to compliment a larger family (not saying 2nd car for either).

Changing would get me no more smiles, no more practicality and likely a big monthly payement for anything with 'wow'

After selling my Z4 roadster i've been tempted by another but i try to make it a rule not to own the same car twice so maybe i'll get a coupe in the future. I've had in my opinion better cars also so its hard to not want to always upgrade and get something better. My next car is still going to be a S2 111S Elise.
