Most ridiculous statement I’ve ever heard!

our moral compasses should guide us.we all have nice vehicles , cars and bike etc , if you flaunt the advice by finding ways to get around the rules then we are being extremely selfish and a bit narcacistic really. If you have a concience then I suspect you wouldnt even enjoy the drive as you would be looking over your shoulder or worrying what people are thinking.I have the M , a harley, aconvertible beetle and a beach buggy but if I do go to the food shop then I take the wifes 2007 as I would feel I was joyriding in any of the other vehicles. Imagine how you would feel if someone showed their contempt of our behaviour by keying our pride and joy.mr wilks said:I thought it might encourage some debate
For now I am busying myself in cleaning & polishing them ( fortunately have a pair of Zs to meddle with at the moment  )
I will most likely roll 2-3 tasks into 1 outing when I do go out , shopping, supplies to parents & a long way home drive across the moors![]()
Before you join the ranks of the righteous worth noting when the thread was started , it wasn't posted yesterday :wink:mad4slalom said:our moral compasses should guide us.we all have nice vehicles , cars and bike etc , if you flaunt the advice by finding ways to get around the rules then we are being extremely selfish and a bit narcacistic really. I decided to get the toys out , clean fettle and polish them in the garden therefore getting the enjoyment of them without the guilt of driving them.. I appreciate that a certain car maybe someone’s sole vehicle and that you have to get a food shop, thats fine and no problem and if you take a slightly longer route home then hey thats probably fine too, just do as most do and be guided by your own compass. Even though all those empty roads are extremely inviting

my post was a general one mr wilks, not aimed at any one , just that I clickd quote on your post , i had read yours and noted that you ,were like many, tinkering at home instead of driving, which is probably why I quoted on yours so as not to cause offence to anyone , certainly I didnt think to look at the date but it wasnt relevant anyway as I wasnt having a dig at anyone, just stating that even people who did go for sneaky blast probably wouldnt enjoy it much anyway, definately not being self righteous ,just doing the right thing for the common good.mr wilks said:Before you join the ranks of the righteous worth noting when the thread was started , it wasn't posted yesterday :wink:mad4slalom said:our moral compasses should guide us.we all have nice vehicles , cars and bike etc , if you flaunt the advice by finding ways to get around the rules then we are being extremely selfish and a bit narcacistic really.
