Build Thread: ///M Coupe Z3 Breadvan

Few jobs to do on the MC. Then a quick blast as its too nice out there today not to enjoy; even on a day with lots to do? En route, obligatory phone pictures in the spring sunshine.

It looks great and I'm really glad you're enjoying the car.

Are you going to do a write-up in which you compare the MC with the Z4MC?

Cheers John. Am loving it. Such an involving drive and just the right side of 'classic' to have plenty of ///M fun :D

Got her booked in for a fair bit of work in next few weeks and can add another to-do with the discovery today that I'm missing the n/s rear jacking point rubber. Replaced the rear sound proofing foam today though and sorted the interior boot lid trim so it no longer comes away when you shut the boot. Thats the character I love in her though. I like that I need to keep maintained

Will do a write up soon on this build thread and over on the MCForum once I've driven and lived with her a little more.

Really loving it inks... Bit of a longshot, but with Bluewater closing earlier than usual I'd be about tonight to take a few late evening pics of a few cars, be nice to get yourself along (and for me to get a passenger ride ;) )

I'm no professional 'tog but every now and again I take a few OK shots.

Would love to but alas I'm out for the rest of the day doing family easter stuff. Maybe we can sort a time once I've had the work done though as I'd love to get some shots by you and you could absolutely go for a passenger ride

I should think the wake vortex behind that stops anyone coming close :D

Funny you should say that. On my Z3MC I have a AC Schnitzer Roof Wing and I've made a rear diffuser for it, and in the wet it throws up an enormous rooster tail which prevents anyone from tailgating. 8)

Interesting, have you replicated one for the z4mc, I can see there being sufficient demand for it "The exdos rooster diffuser " - copyright

:D

As it happens, I'm presently part way through devising and fitting aero parts for under the Z4MC and I'm onto the rear diffuser now.

Apologies for the thread hijack, so new thread when you're ready exdos, looking forward to seeing some details

I went for the one without engraving, does it feel different with the engraving in your hand?
