Really? When was this? Know they've had mixed reviews. Usually go to ETA in Kent but couldn't get through to them. You reckon I should give BMSport a miss then?RJS-Z4 said:Errrr... I was going to ask why you're using them...
For something like that, fine, but for anything else I'd avoid them.
I had a very bad experience and very bad customer service from them a while back, stubborn prat wouldn't even admit he was wrong.
I took the car in because of a weird knock from the back, he said it was a rear bearing, so he replaced that, the noise was still there, so he said it could only be the diff. He dropped the diff and I'd sourced another, he was supplying new oil an seals.
Then, whilst my diff was off, one of his mecahnics noticed that the split rim bolts had worked loose on one wheel post refurb.
When I went in, I explained I'd have no problem paying for the part cost on the bearing, but didn't want to pay for the labour (it's quite a lot of labour to do a rear bearing on a zed), as it was a misdiagnosis and there was no problem with it. I was also happy to pay for the diff oil and seal because it's nice to have that done anyway. He wouldn't have any of it, and claimed the bearing was "making the noise too". I ended up having to pay up as I needed the car for work, but I did call him some choice names as I left.
