Late to the party but that is BEAUTIFUL! You are a very lucky man. Glad to hear your enjoying it. For an almost 16 year old car it doesn't look it. It's just fabulous.
Thanks Angie :)

It's one that's on my list......ideally in PY but Imola is my other favourite colour. My other half hates them.....but he has jap cars, Datsuns to be exact so what does he know :P

I'm not scrolling through all 9 pages but I do love the Z3MC's. Constantly toying with the idea of getting one and it is definitely a bucket list car for me as well.

I'm very envious of your new purchase, but then i covetted the Sepang Z4 as well but only after I read the thread where you had sold it :headbang:

Hey Inkey$

This is a late reply as I only just saw the thread to this article!

Congratulations on your purchase, stunning colour and love the interior.
As you say, these have always been a marmite car but I think in this colour it looks absolutely fantastic....

Thanks a lot guys. Know this is a Z4 forum and conscious this isn't, but after four years and three Z4's incl. two x ///M's I reckon I get a pass to keep a build thread on here right!?

Just priced up a Thule roof bar setup with bike rack, ready to also rock the the alpine look

I really wish they did roof bars for the Z4m. I would love to drive to the Alps with my snowboards and skis on the roof. I saw a thread on another forum where a member got a set of BMW 7 Series roof bar feet and bars to fit without any modifications, but he never put the 7 series model and year up, so everyone couldn't replicate!! Very annoying

Anyone else got any ideas??

On my Z4MC I used a Saris Bones attached to the rear hatch. Was a fine solution and worked a treat for a bike (but alas not skis). Check my thread here...

This is the look I'm going for on the MC.

Build update. Booked into BMSport, Bexley for early Insp2 (2k miles early but more of a best practice type choice), H&R ARB fitting, CPV seal replacement, new throttle cable and passenger actuator fix.

Then it will be very nearly time to book that KDS paint correction ;)

If you have the time to spare, see if you can stick around and watch - the transformation can be amazing

Are BMSport any good? I've seen very mixed reviews on other sites.

This will be the first time I've used them so the jury's out. I did email my usual guys in West Kingsdown (ETA Motorsport) but they haven't come back to me despite two chasing emails. Figured I'd give these guys a try as they're even closer to me. Shall report back once the work is done.

I might book a special day off of work to do that very thing!

I've read good things about ETA. Read a lot of good reports about a small garage in Dartford called Scotts Performance. He owns and looks after some race beemers and looking at his FB page he works a fair few performance cars.
