Is the car's handling affected? Can you actually feel/hear anything if the spring is broken?
I found that the most reliable way of reproducing the nose was when dropping down from a speed plateu/platform (the speed bumps that are c.4m long) with the door open (although it was driver's side, so maybe a friend stood outside listening).
