Love it! They just give the Z4 a completely different look.

Fair enough - I must admit if I had a garage and it wasn't a DD I wouldn't have bought one.
Having said that I'm strangely looking forward to the winter and the coooupeeee experience
- It was a great drive home on Friday, quieter in the cabin on the Mway plus it got a lot of attention

Always said that with the hardtop you get 2 cars for the price of one. Coupe for Winter and roadster for Summer.
5 mins to remove it if the sun shines,,or,to,put it on if leaving it outside for extended periods.

Slight problem I have is its a 2 man (person) job and Mrs. Marlon has an old neck injury so she really can't be helping very often. We managed to get it off ok but she doesn't want to push her luck, and I don't blame her. There's no way I could do it on my own (I've heard someone on here say they can manage it on their own but they must be some kind of giant muscle man). So I'm really thinking the sensible way forward is to mark a date in the diary around September for putting it on and have the cooooupeeee experience right through to the following spring.
It's a novelty at the moment and I'd love to be switching it on and off more often but its just not practical - I can't imagine how I could do it on my own. Its frustrating
Fully understand - Mrs CJ is not one for lifting the roof on and off either following a back injury.
I've done it a few times myself, but it's heavy and awkward, so built an electric hoist with remote control in the garage rafters. Now it's literally 5 mins to fix a couple of strops and lift it off the car, reverse out the garage and enjoy. Summer it's lowered to the floor, bagged and hung on the wall (1 man job)
