I’m pretty sure they won’t, even with new brackets

Pretty sure they do actually. They were designed for e87/90 chassis and fit the 89 with the original oem bracket that would have come with them when bought from BMW (I still have mine lying around somewhere).

I didn’t know that, I’ve still got the original brackets but I assume the discs aren’t comparable?

I believe I’ve a buyer on FB for the whole lot which makes more sense that separating the bits

Yes exactly, I was going to add that the discs would not be compatible so it wouldn't make much sense for you to sell to him/he to buy from you.
Dr-Jon probably best get the complete kit from bmw which includes calipers, pads, discs & backing plates for £710ish. It says it's for an e90 but I'm certain it will fit the 89, they don't list it as compatible I believe because the matching rear BMW performance brakes do not fit the rear of an e89.
The part number for the kit is 34110444738

You cannot buy his csl's because there on my car and I wouldn't sell them unless I was made a stupid offer.I can link you in the direction of some csl's but they are 1500 pounds without tyres.

I'm sure I've seen these on an e89 - can't recall where now. I believe you use the F-series M135i front brake disc with it...

Just to clarify if anyone is looking to fit these behind 224Ms - they will fit but require a minimum 5mm spacer to clear the spokes.

There are a few companies who manufacture mounting brackets for the 330ci/e85/86 hubs too - I had these fitted to my old coupe. Cracking little upgrade!

Apologies in advance if this has already been covered but haven’t seen anything. Will these fit an E86 3.0 coupe? Any spacers required? I’ve got 18” MV2’s on.

What’s the asking price now? Saw a post that said price drop but no price stated

Per my response about 4posts up -

They will fit under mv2s I'm sure but you would need to experiment with spacers as these have a different offset to 224Ms.

I believe these are not suitable for the SI as they use different discs to the M cars. The callipers may be suitable however my set would be an expensive way for you to get the callipers
I have someone coming for these tomorrow so they could be sold

They are suitable for the 3.0si. Per my two previous posts the only thing you need is hub specific adapters for the calipers. The csl discs do fit. I had this exact kit with csl discs fitted to my si coupe for a year or so, they performed very well.
