BMW performance 6 pot brake kit

Hi All

I’m now selling the BMW performance front brakes off my M. The discs, pads and callipers were bought from BMW in June last year and the adapters and hoses were new from M3cutters IIRC. The car has only covered 1200 miles since fitting and never been tracked so there is little wear.
The following parts are included:
Brake discs, callipers, pads (made by Jurid). Adapters, goodridge brake hoses (front and rear) brake wear sensor.

I am looking for around £1000 collected and my location is near Tring in Herts

Pretty sure they do actually. They were designed for e87/90 chassis and fit the 89 with the original oem bracket that would have come with them when bought from BMW (I still have mine lying around somewhere).

I didn’t know that, I’ve still got the original brackets but I assume the discs aren’t comparable?

I believe I’ve a buyer on FB for the whole lot which makes more sense that separating the bits

Not enough time John. I’ve been flat out with work all year and any spare time in the sunshine I’ve spent on 2 wheels. IMO the car looked stunning with all the bits on but it drives just as well without them, if not better on the 18s and I’ve a bit of a ‘been there done that’ feeling about it. I’m also tempted down the 911 route too so if I can achieve the right sort of money I will probably sell and if not, it’s certainly no hardship to keep her

Fair shout mate. Regarding wheels it’s weird as you and Darren to name just two have both said you prefer 18’s to 19 gen CSL’s, I prefer mine with the CSL’s, car feels more planted and stable with no more harshness than before. Each to their own.

I agree with you on handling, she feels more sure footed on the CSLs than the 224s but not much and the ride quality is better on 224s but again by not much. As you say John, each to their own

I prefer the ride in mine with 18”s too. I’ve kept my CSLs because I love the look on the coupe but I use my track wheels or Volk TE37s almost exclusively now. The CSLs are much more prone to tramlining and are far more crashy over bumps.
