Bloody Flimper Porsche Spec!!

Ok, so went to Porsche today to go and view my car, and it turns out

THE CAR DOES NOT HAVE XENON LIGHTS!!

What on earth is all that about....it has £11000 worth of extras but they left off the Xenons......now what on earth do ?

Oh the humanity.

not sure about the 981, but the 987 Boxter S didn't have them as standard

I thought all boxter S has them as standard... Not an option to go up to an S instead?

First world problems eh, lol

Check the car out first you may look past the lack of xenons

If they have projector lights you could retro fit

Can't believe what I'm reading in this thread.

If you like the car then buy it, from Carol's observations, you'll be over the lights issue in heartbeat.

Unless you’re planning to run it at LeMans, in which case you’re going to need Xenon’s and some extra spots strapped to the roof and another 300 bhp and a bigger fuel tank. :D

Guys this is Stark we are talking about and his OCD is legendary, there are certain things that on a car are mandatory, where cruise would be one of mine and that's one of the reasons I buy new.

Stark, you live in London, with street lighting so bright you could get away with candles as lights, do you need Xenons to see better or do you just like the look of the white light on the car.

I totally see his point. I am also very particular about the spec of my cars.

Personally, I would think very long and hard about compromising on an expensive car like this that did not even have OE Xenons. It would probably always bother me.

I would not want to be trying to compromise and mucking about with white light bulbs because it is never going to be a patch on the OE HID bi-xenon system I want the car to have.

You pays your money. . . .

I'll not buy another car without xenons, i love them

I still have the dealer spec sign that was in the window of my last car when I bought it - says it has xenon lights, I knew nothing at the time and was majorly dismayed when I found out on here it actually didn't. I stuck new bulbs in and am not dead, so the non-xenons are not that bad. However, I always wanted xenons back as my ST had them, as does the wife's car.

I shall let you all know tomorrow afternoon, so rest assured the Dutch and Scottish economies will still stand based on my decision, and you can treat your wives to something nice with the £1 you both save!

Just had a thought based on this topic title... What if flimper changed his car, to one with every option available...

Threads like this will no longer make sense!!

Never happen - he'd spontaneously combust, his DNA would not allow it
